Dear Friends,

 

I just shared with all of our supporters and friends gathered at Lost Dog Café the news. Tonight, I lost the endorsement of the Arlington Democrats in the race for school board.  

 

My campaign ends here, but I look forward to supporting our ACDC endorsee, Barbara Kanninen, as we head toward the election in November.

 

While it is disappointing to end this six-month journey tonight, I am encouraged by the way the Arlington community came together today. I saw supporters from every area of the county.  And, I want you to know: We could not have come so far without you. 

 

You knocked doors, you called friends, hosted coffees and donated money. But most importantly, you voted.

 

While our road to November has been cut short, our work together continues. I look forward to working with you in the months ahead as we do all we can to focus on where we build, how we build and how we can ensure that our facilities improve instruction for all of our students.
